Judy Harmann has been interested in all types of artwork since she was a child. However she was reluctant to pursue art because she was raised to believe a career in art was a frivolous one to strive for.
Always with a creative side, designing various websites and marketing materials for friends and family, JHarmann Designs actually started with a small business website launched back in 1998.
About 2 years ago, Judy decided to pursue art more as she found it to be therapeutic and enjoyable. She started with trying out photomanipulation. When that wasn't enough to satiate her creative needs, she started trying to make her own digital art, fractals, and photography. This brings us current with Judy's plan to start her own photography and custom portraits business, simply referred to "Visions Portrait Service", a part of what all JHarmann Designs has to offer, the name reflects the vision that Judy has to help others create their visions.

Ok there are the basics. Now for some fun stuff. Last night, at Wally World, we had to get cat litter, and as we were standing at the self checkout, I did what I normally do, make sure I don't "need" to impulsively buy anything. So as I am glancing around, I see it.
The "Slap Shot", I picked it up and said rather loudly to Monty, "Dude! You're gonna love my nuts!" (If you have seen this commercial then you know what I was doing.) Monty, the man I was attempting to make smile, barely grinned. The kid who worked the station to help out with problems with the self-checkout started laughing and said that he needed that cause it was his first day of quitting smoking. So that kinda made me feel good, to be able to make a stranger smile.
Now for something extra cool. Monty and I got free Funny Bone tickets to see....<insert good sound effects here> Michael Winslow! OH MY GOD! The man is freaking hilarious. But as a woman, I feel the need to warn other women out there. If you should need to go to the bathroom, WAIT. When the lights are brought down and he is distracted, during his show, quickly make your way to the bathroom. Why? Well, if you know who Michael Winslow is, you know he is a very talented man who can make a whole menagerie of sounds. Imagine this, you need to go to the bathroom, another woman gets up, Mr. Winslow then makes sound effects of her walking to the door to go to the bathroom, along with the door shutting behind her. Your eyes are glued on the lady trying to get to the bathroom, because you are making sure Mr. Winslow is matching the sound effects with the actions. Now, you laugh along with everyone else, all the while thinking, is he going to do that every time a woman gets up to go to the bathroom? Alas, another poor woman has decided her bladder is calling, and again, is escorted out of the room with sound effects. You decide it is best to wait for a time where he is distracted. The lights go down, he does an amazing rendition of Star Wars sound effects, you aren't sure if you would have enough time to go to the bathroom, you decide to wait just in case. The lights come back on, darn it, you could have done it! You hope and pray that yet again, the lights will come down, and he won't make you laugh TOO hard. But he does make you laugh too hard, however, this time he cuts the lights back down for another soud effects skit. You gently smack your friend on the shoulder who also must go to the bathroom. You quickly run to the bathroom together, trying to hurry up before the lights come back on. You make it! Suddenly, the bathroom is filled with women, giggling and laughing about how they were scared to go to the bathroom until then, just like you. So it is a rather fun bonding experience for women, and alot of fun for the men to see as well. Highly recommend if you have the opportunity arise to see Michael Winslow, he is more amazing live than in anything I have seen him in.
